Request for proposals: Improving oxygen infrastructure and delivery in Ecuador and Guatemala
Since July 2021, CHAI has supported the governments of Ecuador and Guatemala to strengthen technical capacity for oxygen delivery. Under the new Oxygen Technical Assistance (TA) Program funded by Unitaid, CHAI is working with the ministries of health to improve oxygen infrastructure and delivery in five to six hospitals in each country, prioritized by need. Program interventions will include: a) improvements to hospital infrastructure; b) clinical training on oxygen therapy and forecasting of oxygen and related commodity needs; c) developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for each of the prioritized hospitals; d) procurement of health supplies, among others.
CHAI is seeking applications for work intended to improve hospital infrastructure in Guatemala and Ecuador on a rolling basis from January 10 through January 21, 2022.
Interested providers should review the RFPs or reach out to José Manuel Córdova Mendoza at firstname.lastname@example.org (Guatemala) or Rodrigo Valencia at email@example.com (Ecuador) for more information.
As we have not received bids meeting the criteria specified in the RFP in the first call for submissions for Guatemala made up of technical and economic proposals, we have now extended the deadline to January 28, 2022, 5:00 pm EST.
